Three Wood County deputies involved in the fatal shooting of a man during a standoff are going back to work.
Wood County Sheriff Jeff Sandy tells media outlets an internal investigation found that the deputies didn't violate department policies.
Sandy says their names won't be released until an outside investigation by West Virginia State Police and the Wood County Prosecutor's Office is completed.
The deputies were placed on administrative leave following the March 18 incident.
Sandy had said earlier that the deputies fatally shot 32-year-old Jody Wilson after he fired a gun at them during a standoff at his parents' house in Lubeck.
