What has happened to the Boy Scouts of America?  Once it was a trusted orginization that many parents relied on for teaching important skills and life-lessons to their boys.  Many men today can testify of how the Scouts helped to shape their views, their outlook, their manhood.  Several single mothers sent their sons to the Scouts to help make up, in some part, for not having a dad in the house.

And now the BSA is considering doing away with a policy that keeps homosexuals members/leaders out.  The policy change would allow that determination to be made at the local level.  As I have written previously, this will lead to a decline in membership, less funding, and a lack of meeting places (since many scout troops meet in churches).

The BSA announced today they will delay their decision until May.

The news lately hasn't been very good for the BSA!

Scout leaders vow to quit if 'gay' policy reversed

With all the negativity about the BSA, you'd think they wouldn't purposely bring any more attention to themselves!

The BSA won a 5-4 U.S. Supreme Court ruling in 2000 that upheld its right to ban gays, but the organization has come under increasing public pressure in recent years from activists.

So why have the Scouts considered giving in to the homosexual agenda?  Here's the answer - MONEY!  The homosexual lobby has been hounding specific major donors to the BSA.  They include IBM, Levi Strauss and Company, J.P. Morgan, American Airlines, Medtronic, Portland General Gas and Electric, Hewlett Packard, Textron, Fleet Bank, CVS/Pharmacy Stores, UPS, Merck, and Carrier Corp.

Look which companies dumping Boy Scouts

Why are these companies so afraid of the homosexual lobby?  I mean if you decide to donate to an orginization, it should be based on what the group does, NOT what they don't do.  Donors should not be bullied by the radical agenda of the homosexuals!

One report says a former Cub Scout den mother is one of those who has collected signatures encouraging the BSA to accept homosexuals.  What does that matter?  The BSA can accept who they want to accept and deny who they want to deny.  The number of signatures and the amount of money shouldn't matter!

The Scouts can delay their decision on gays, but I wonder how many will delay their reaction to the discussion?  One thing's for sure, the Boy Scouts of America aren't what they used to be.  But neither is America!
