Police are investigating an early morning shooting on the 900 block of Monroe Ave.
It happened just before 4:00 this morning.
Dispatchers say the victim called 911 saying two women had tried to rob him and he had been shot.
The victim was taken to a Huntington hospital for treatment. He was alert as paramedics loaded him into an ambulance.
There's no word on any suspects in the case.
